Neither engine was designed to burn water which has been the biggest problem in the Marine enviroment and specifically in South Florida. We recommend changing and checking your water separator often. Both manufactures make great additives that will help condition the fuel and extend it’s life for long periods. We do not endorse any product not made by a engine manufacture.
